O Happy Day

On Sunday we, the worship team, closed with a song by Tim Hughes that was such a fitting declaration of the work Christ did for us. We celebrated by ending with this song, and I'm still singing it two days later!

The chorus rings, "Oh happy day, happy day. You washed my sin away. Oh happy day, happy day. I'll never be the same. Forever I am changed."

I am so thankful for that happy day of the resurrection where Christ gave hope and life to my faults, doubts, wrongs, malicious thoughts, lack of love, quick tongue and much much more. Things have never been the same with Christ, and even though I am prone to continue to do wrong, I am no longer controlled by it. I am forever changed.

I couldn't resist adding a few adorable pictures from Easter Sunday.
